- By hosting evenings where we invite eminent psychiatrists to share their views or discuss their research/work to University students.
To demonstrate and discuss how mental illness is portrayed in the media, which often potentiates the stigma surrounding various mental health conditions.
- By hosting 'film nights' where we show popular and new films that portray mental illness; after wich a psychiatrist will discuss the fact or fiction behind the depiction in the film and to dispel common misconceptions about common mental illnesses.
To promote psychiatry as a career
- By providing information surrounding psychiatry as a career through talkes, postings on our website, providing information about upcoming conferences in psychiatry etc.
- By hosting social events to allow students interested in mental health and psychiatry to meet up in a fun and relaxed environment.
